Getting to Know Everyone at FIU in Spain
FIU in Spain is a study abroad program by Florida International University (FIU). It provides students with an immersive educational and cultural experience in Spain. The four-week program focuses primarily on Spanish language instruction, emphasizing conversational skills, grammar, and writing. While also incorporating unique academic components, such as the study of cathedral architecture.
What sets this program apart is its hands-on approach. Every weekend, professors travel with students to different cities. This offers a rich and varied perspective on Spain’s diverse regions, cultures, and histories.
Alongside my classmates, Sophia Cazañas, Fermín Morales, and Tico Ginart, we immersed ourselves in colorful towns and meaningful moments with our host families. Together, we discovered the soul of Spain, one unforgettable adventure at a time.
