It\u2019s summer ALL YEAR ROUND. Moving to a city with four seasons is one of the most exciting concepts for me. And the most common question is \u201care you ready for the snow?\u201d Even though I\u2019m a first timer for living in snow, I have a few tips I want to share.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>People don\u2019t really prepare you for what\u2019s to come. They say January and February are the worst snow months. Snow is unpredictable, but better to be ready than not! Surprisingly, this year has been a \u201chotter\u201d winter, so maybe I\u2019ll be more prepared for the colder one with these tips!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ready?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Buy 2 scrapers- one for your car, an \u201con-the-go\u201d scraper and one for your house (just in case the one in your car is unreachable)<\/li><li>Leave the defroster, heated seats\/steering wheel, and heater on high if the weather tells you it\u2019s snowing the next day. Trust me, it\u2019ll be easier to work with your car if you start it minutes before leaving.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Get an ALL-WHEEL DRIVE car. It\u2019ll make you feel safer AND a little taller. If you\u2019ve never had an SUV until now, like me, it\u2019s weird at first. <em>Especially trying to parallel park. <\/em>But you get used to it. (Having a regular car is also ok, it\u2019s not <em>that<\/em> bad, just be more careful).&nbsp;<\/li><li>Buy WINTER coats. Before moving here, I had no idea that fall and winter coats were even slightly different.
