Take Us Out for Drinks in Rhode Island
We did a bit of brewery hopping, as well as some vineyards. Really, it was to go around and explore who had the better tasting drink in Rhode Island. While I’m still thinking of my response, I think everyone just wants to know where I went to spend all my alcoholic monies- it was here. Hello!
Welcome to the capital!

Long Live Beer Works
We went to this brewery and it was so much fun! There was a bar downstairs and seating extended to upstairs. We even brought games to play. I believe the ambiance was perfect for it! We also got the beers for a little more expensive than the next place I’ll show you, but nothing too crazy.
Trinity Brewhouse
A pit stop to the next place, but this restaurant had some of the most affordable flights we’ve seen thus far. For a whole 6 flight beers, we paid about $10-12. They have plenty of flavors, as well as food options. The outside of this place was extremely vibrant too.

Green Vale Vineyards
Very good mix of Rhode Island blends and well engraved within their culture. This spot actually used to be a barn stable and they’ve recently been adding more work to it to make it more effective for the vineyard more so.
Note: What surprised me a little was that they didn’t have little snacks to munch on while in the tour. Well, really, neither vineyard had small snacks. I’ve usually seen small peanuts or crispy corn bits, but haven’t seen them since.
New Port Vineyards
So we actually didn’t make a reservation because we didn’t know we had to. If you’d like a seat in their restaurant part, I strongly recommend you save some seats for you and your guests. We got lucky and did a tasting at the bar on the other side of the restaurant, by the gift shop.
My sister and I always get creative when doing these tastings because since we like almost the same things, we make a bang of our buck and try more wines in two tastings that one. While we also didn’t come during high season, the vineyard’s trees looked a little dead and it was a bit cold outside to enjoy the outdoor seating. The wine connoisseur was very knowledgeable as well!
Newport Craft Brewing & Distilling Co.
While it was a little out of the way, this place was a must. It’s actually an award-winning hot spot since 1999 because they brew their own beers. They’re only opened on afternoons, have tasting rooms, and also have a distillery of their own.
My sister and I are just waiting for them to sell their little flight glasses because they were branded very nicely.
White Horse Tavern
THE OLDEST TAVERN IN THE UNITED STATES and I drank in it!
The White Horse Tavern is the “oldest operating restaurant in the U.S.” and is acknowledged as the 10th oldest in the world. It’s a National Historic Landmark as America’s oldest restaurant, having served guests since 1673.
New Port News
It’s very small and elegant on the right side and the left side is more of a bar style. You typically need a reservation to come because it’s only open certain days of the week and a small amount of hours too. We made a reservation on Open Table. The vibe was nice and the drinks were a little basic. We really only went to be able to say that we sat, chatted, and cheered at the oldest tavern. Maybe next time I’ll dress up to par with their recommendation and eat on the right side of the restaurant.
This web page is mostly a stroll-via for the entire info you needed about this and didn’t know who to ask Glimpse here, and also you’ll definitely uncover it [Reply]
