How to Make Holiday Hot Cocoa Mix into a Gift Idea

There’s so much to be grateful for but one in particular are the holidays. I absolutely love every excuse to spend time with family and of course, the food that comes with it. This year was a little different because of the pandemic, but I feel like I’ve gotten closer to my family and friends back home because we have a FaceTime date like every other date. So it truly makes the holidays a little more special spending time with those you care about.

But let’s get to the food part. The part that really matters. Am I right?!

The holidays made me do it!

For a half pint:

  • 3 tablespoons of non fat dry milk powder
  • 1.5 tablespoons of hot cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of mini chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon of crushed candy canes
  • 4 tablespoons of mini marshmallows

Here’s some insight on what I did:

I created 30 half pints of bali mason jars with about ¾ small bag of non far dry milk powder, a quarter of swiss miss hot cocoa tub, half of 2 pound powdered sugar, half a bag of nestle milk chocolate chips, a full 60-count mini candy canes, and a bag and a half of mini marshmallows.

Basically, I did a whole assembly line for the ingredients and measured everything precisely. Watching Christmas movies was also added in to the mix!

I also wanted to give you the design I created for the Homemade Hot Cocoa Mix, to make life easier for you. Here’s the design, just for you! I put six to a page and printed it on card stock paper. I also hand wrote the names and signed it. I just love the personal touch it offers!

Hopefully this holiday season is a reminder of all the good that has happened in this crummy year. If you ever need a pal to connect with, I’m here for you!

Here’s a little sneaky guy who came in last minute though…

Enjoy!!!

  2. You actually make it seem really easy together with your presentation but I in finding this topic to be really one thing that I think I’d by no means understand. It seems too complicated and extremely large for me. I am having a look forward for your subsequent post, I’ll try to get the dangle of it!

  3. Good article and straight to the point. I don’t know if this is actually the best place to ask but do you people have any ideea where to get some professional writers? Thanks in advance 🙂
